Ink Playground 2026

Description

Ink Playground is a relaxed, hands-on fountain pen ink session featuring 150 inks drawn from a single collector’s personal archive. Across four themed stations, participants can swab, dip-write and discover everything from soft shading and saturated sheen to shimmer, permanent inks, multichromatic effects, experimental colours and collectible bottles. Move through the stations, compare inks side by side, and perhaps finally try an ink you have only ever seen online.
This isn’t a class, and there are no right or wrong answers - the whole point is to play, experiment and discover something unexpected. Further information on the materials provided for the session, and anything participants may wish to bring, will be updated closer to the event date.
